Happy Summer!

Thank You
What a great year! We had adversity and tragedy to begin the year. The Ravens and the community not only rallied for Mrs. Robison & family, but we also rallied for each other. Just a few days after Bud Rank opened in 2007, I knew as a 3rd-grade teacher in room 15, this would be a special place. We built a school that was not just the center of the Harlan Ranch Community but a very large extended family. In interviews, we have candidates ask staff members about the culture at BR. The answer is always that it feels like family here. We didn’t do this, and neither did the success we had this year without a community of help. We are not perfect and always have work to do, but there is no data point on how much we did this year with giving back and teaching character and positivity.
I want to thank some individuals who helped us have a successful year.
Annette Philips who has led our Snack Shack for years, will be off to Bronco Land. The Snack Shack is a student favorite and its proceeds are a major PTC fundraiser.
Ashley Bowers, a PTC Board Member, brought fresh ideas and events to Bud Rank. She was a great asset to the Board over the past year.
Matt Moss, Richard Vang, and Tria Her, our custodial staff received 100% on the Parent SART Survey, and visitors ask how new the school is weekly, and can’t believe we are approaching our 19th year.
Jason LeFore, our GIS, has been instrumental in supporting some of our students most in need. We will miss his quiet and calm leadership.
Nicole Mulligan and Kim Avila, our office staff, are truly the best team. They support every single person on campus and are the ones who make Bud Rank run daily. It is a thankless job, but I thank them for their hard work and passion for BR.
Our volunteers, without whom we couldn’t do anything of this without them. From correcting Math Facts on their couch, working with sight words in the hallway, volunteering in the hot Snack Shack, and chaperoning on field trips, we appreciate each of you!
To our 6th Graders who were asked to be leaders on campus in August. They led and they led well. Thank you all for the end of a great career at Bud Rank. We know great things will come for you at the next level and in life. The Ravens will be cheering you on every step of the way. Congratulations, Class of 2031!
