Bud Rank was named for Mr. Everett “Bud” Rank, the first board president in Clovis Unified, and is located near DeWolf and Sheperd Avenues. The school is the 32nd elementary school in Clovis Unified and opened in August 2007. The Raven was chosen as the name for our mascot because the Rank Family had a beloved pet Raven named Basil. Our school colors Navy, Columbia Blue, & White were also chosen during the initial process of opening a new school.
Bud Rank Elementary School is a TK-6th grade elementary school in the nationally acclaimed Clovis Unified School District. The school is located in Clovis, California and has been open since 2007. The school houses approximately 700+ students. Many of the staff that helped open the school still work here in the same or different capacity.
Bud Rank has been recognized as a California Distinguished School, a Bonner Character Education School, a California Gold Ribbon School, and has earned numerous awards for performance in academics, performing arts, and athletics.
